KUALA LUMPUR 24 MAC: Ahli Parlimen Kulim Bandar Baharu, Zulkifli Nordin dari Bebas pada sidang Dewan Rakyat hari ini menganggap, tidak ada salahnya usaha melaksanakan Pelan 16 September yang dirancang Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Beliau yang dipecat Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) baru-baru ini, menyifatkan pelan seumpama itu tidak perlu dipertikai parti pemerintah kerana ia adalah pelan yang betul kepada mana-mana parti pembangkang.

KUALA TERENGGANU – Ahli Parlimen Kuala Terengganu Mohd Abdul Wahi Endut telah membawa hasrat kumpulan para peniaga Terengganu supaya beliau dapat menyampaikan kepada kerajaan Persekutuan, peri pentingnya perkhidmatan keretapi di negeri Terengganu.

Saranan tersebut telah disampaikan kepada Wahid dalam program Dailog Bersama Dewan Perhimpunan Cina beberapa minggu dua minggu lalu.

Justeru, Timbalan Menteri Pengangkutan Datuk Abdul Rahim Bakri berkata Kajian mengenai kemungkinan untuk mengadakan perkhidmatan rel ke Pantai Timur yang dilaksanakan kerajaan melalui Majlis Pembangunan Wilayah Ekonomi Pantai Timur (ECERDC) dijangka siap hujung tahun ini.

Katanya, secara umum, ECERDC mengenal pasti laluan landasan kereta api dari Lembah Klang ke Bentong, Mentakab, Kuantan, Kemaman, Kuala Terengganu, Besut iaitu hampir semua bandar besar di Terengganu dan seterusnya ke Pasir Putih, Kota Baharu hingga ke Tumpat.

Beliau berkata demikian ketika menjawab pertanyaan Ahli Parlimen Kuala Terengganu, Haji Mohd Abdul Wahid Endut di Parlimen semalam.

Wahid ingin tahu adakah kerajaan berhasrat untuk mengadakan rangkaian perkhidmatan kereta api sehingga ke Terengganu pada masa akan datang sebagai tambahan kepada perhubungan dan pengangkutan yang sedia ada bagi merancakkan lagi pertumbuhan ekonomi serta menambah baik sistem pengangkutan di Terengganu.

"Pertimbangan seterusnya adalah tertakluk kepada rumusan dan syor kajian berkenaan kelak," katanya

Bernama memetik Abdul Rahim berkata, hasil kajian itu akan membolehkan kerajaan menentukan larasan landasan serta bentuk perkhidmatan kereta api yang akan dilaksanakan di Pantai Timur kelak.

SEREMBAN 24 MAC: Rumah ahli Majlis Pimpinan Pusat PKR, Badrul Hisham Shaharin atau lebih dikenali sebagai CheguBad, di sini, menjadi sasaran serangan bom petrol awal pagi ini dipercayai perbuatan bermotifkan politik.

Bagaimanapun, kejadian itu tidak mengakibatkan kerosakan teruk kecuali kesan kebakaran di lantai dan dinding luar rumah teresnya yang terletak di Taman Chedang, Seremban.

Ketua Cabang PKR Rembau itu menyedari rumahnya dibaling dengan bom petrol kira-kira 1.30 pagi.

“Kira-kira 1.30 pagi tadi saya terdengar bunyi kaca pecah dan apabila saya dari keluar rumah, saya nampak api di luar rumah dan secara kebetulan jiran saya menggunakan air dari paip luar rumah untuk memadamkan kebakaran,” katanya ketika dihubungi Malaysian Insider awal pagi.

Turut berada di rumah ketika kejadian ialah isteri dan dua anaknya.

Ini kali pertama rumahnya dibaling dengan bom petrol, kata beliau.

Keretanya juga mengalami kesan kebakaran tetapi tidak rosak teruk.

“Saya tidak pasti apa punca tindakan pihak yang membaling bom petrol ke atas rumah saya kecuali saya percaya ini dilakukan oleh musuh-musuh politik saya,” kata beliau yang lazimnya lantang menyuarakan isu berkaitan kepimpinan peringkat negeri dan juga pusat.

Bekas calon pilihan raya umum ke-12 bagi kerusi Parlimen Rembau ini membuat laporan polis kira-kira 3 pagi tadi.

“Berdasarkan maklumat diberikan jiran saya, mereka ada lihat dua orang yang menaiki motosikal membaling bom petrol ini,” katanya.
